Khaled completed Bachelor of Science Degree in Physiotherapy in 1992, and a Master Degree in Sports Medicine and Physiotherapy from the University College Dublin Ireland 2002

 

His post graduate career began in South Africa, where he worked in various hospitals and sports injury clinics. His special field of interest is the treatment and rehabilitation of Neuromusculoskeletal conditions and sports injuries. Khaled was selected as a team Physiotherapist on many national and international various sporting events ( All Africa Games 1999 Johannesburg - South Africa, 2003 World Taekwondo Championships Garmisch-Partenkirchen-Germany,  2005 World Taekwondo Championships Madrid-Spain, 2008 Pan-American Taekwondo Championships San Juan-Puerto Rico,  2009 World Taekwondo Championships Copenhagen-Denmark,  & the Bournemouth Sevens Rugby Tournament 2010).

 

In 1997, Khaled completed post graduate course in Neuro Development Therapy (Bobath concept) from The University of Stellenbosch, Cape Town. In 1998, he completed the Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy (Maitland Concept) in 1998 from The University Pretoria.

 

In August 2000, Khaled undertook the Olympic Solidarity Course organized by the International Olympic Committee to develop Taekwondo as an Olympic sport locally and internationally.

 

He studied the advanced Acupuncture technique, Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) under the internationally acclaimed and founder Professor Gunn, the founder of IMS.

 

Khaled have a strong background in sports training and health, which was part of his university degree study. He is a black belt in Taekwondo with over 35 years of experience in the sport and has competed at national and international levels.

 

Following the achievement of two University degrees, completing research in Sports Psychology, having undertaken many post graduate studies as well as significant working experience in South Africa and England and being a team physiotherapist at many international world events, Khaled possesses excellent diagnostic, treatment and rehabilitation skills in the management of sports injuries and neuromusculoskeletal conditions.
